Everyone....

Although the deadline for the first 50 reunion guests is due by September 27, 2019, I am cutting to the chase one day early. To date I have received exactly 26% of payments only and my contract timeline is up tomorrow. I am unable to go forward with the event simply because of lack of response.

I think perhaps many were holding out on getting involved at this point because of the event being next summer which I understand. I ,too, do not know what life shall bring 11 months down the road but I was willing to place this event on my calendar simply because this gathering is far overdue.

I honestly had a fantastic, top rate event planned with the Marriott, however, a contract is a contract and I must adhere to those instructions. All checks and or PayPal deposits that I have received are being immediately refunded.

Since the website url was focused on the reunion I will be deleting it but I will keep the Carowinds page here on FB up.

Tomorrow was my deadline and I simply do not see this coming together. I THOROUGHLY thank everyone that did respond promptly. I truly appreciate the interest you expressed.

Lastly, this was not just a simple get-together but instead it was going to be a very detailed event that involved the cooperation of many people at the hotel along with participants - from the themed decorations planned all centered around the park's theaters, to the wait-staff and chef preparations to the full-scale show that was going to be presented. For those reasons I had to plan early. Please understand my position on this matter.
